Mount Elbrus is regarded top hiking Russian destination. The main range of mount Elbrus spreads from the border between Russia and Georgia. Mount Elbrus is the most popular place for the tourists interested in hiking.

The hiking line of Elbrus has two cable lifts, as well as bottom station, which represents a beautiful village. Lift stations of Mount Elbrus are located at different altitudes. Beginning from 2004 all tourists coming to Mount Elbrus must have permission for hiking in case thy plan to visit the highest stations. If you want to be closer to nature, then it is better to visit the Kamchatka Kronotsky Nature Reserve, which is also the best place for hiking. Base camps for hikers are based at the foot of the Karymsky volcano. The volcano is still active, so visitors would be able to see flying pieces of lava and volcanic material. The area is rich with hot springs, mud caldrons and beautiful lakes. Hikers will have an unforgettable experience in the Kronotsky Nature Reserve.
