Yalta is one of the most popular Crimean resorts. This city is very ancient, though before it was just a Tauri settlement. The Tauri lived in the Crimea during the period from the X-IX centuries. Later from the middle of 15-th century up to the 1774 centuries Yalta was included in the province owned by Turkish sultan.
Later beginning from 1475 up to 1774 Yalta was included into one of the provinces owned by Turks. Yalta can be reached via the Volga River, via the Black Sea on Russian cruises.

Only in 1783 Yalta had been included in Russia. During the time Yalta began to develop into one of the best resort cities of Russia. Only in 1838 Yalta got the status of a town. Due to the construction of the railway Lozovaia-Sevastopol in1873 Yalta began to develop more rapidly.

Beginning from the XX-th century many sanatoriums were constructed in Yalta, which contributed to the flow of tourists to this magnificent resort. As Yalta is surrounded by mountain it is always warm there.

There are a lot of modern and comfortable hotels that offer high standard services& restaurants of Yalta offer wide range of cuisine, including Russian, European, French and many others.

Many famous artists, performers and singers of Russia like to spend summer in Yalta. Many festivals are held here every year that attract tourists from different countries. I recommend visiting Yalta on Russian river crusies that sail via Volga river Russia.

Mount Elbrus is regarded top hiking Russian destination. The main range of mount Elbrus spreads from the border between Russia and Georgia. Mount Elbrus is the most popular place for the tourists interested in hiking.

The hiking line of Elbrus has two cable lifts, as well as bottom station, which represents a beautiful village. Lift stations of Mount Elbrus are located at different altitudes. Beginning from 2004 all tourists coming to Mount Elbrus must have permission for hiking in case thy plan to visit the highest stations. It is desirable the tourists to register in the rescue department for future safety.

The Khibiny Mountains represent another popular and comfortable place for hiking experience. These mountains are known for their wonderful slopes, plateaus, snowfields and glaciers.

Sochi is the best l-lace in Russia to be visited after Moscow and St. Petersburg. Sochi has become the most modern resort, especially after being chosen by the International Olympic Committee as the host of the Winter Olympic Games in 2004.

Sochi is the warmest city of Russia, so it is a pleasant place for having a rest. There are a lot of hotels in Sochi, which have all modern conveniences. The five-star hotel “Odisseya Sanatorium” was built in 2007 in the village Lazarevskoye. Hotel offers its guests room with minibar, phone and air-conditioner. It has its own beach, conference hall, business center, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, restaurant and many other facilities.

The number of hotels is huge, so you can choose the hotel you like and pack your things. You can be sure that in any hotel in Sochi, you’ll be welcomed with pleasure and hospitality.

During you visit to Sochi you’ll have an opportunity to see Stalin’s dacha, which was founded in 1937. From there you would be able to view both the marvelous Black Sea and rocky Caucasian Mountains. During your visit you’ll be offered traditional dishes of Georgian cuisine. The decorations there were preserved untouched, so you’ll be able to see things that belonged to Stalin.

We recommend picking one of St Petersburg tours and then flying to Sochi for a perfect Russia travel vacation. There is simply no better Russia vacation packages.
